Nia Bennett, a Philadelphia native, is a multifaceted creative—writer, poet, blogger, and greeting card creator. Her journey in writing began in 1983 with recognition for a poem in 8th grade. In 2001, a turbulent relationship sparked her first monologue, "What's Wrong With Me?," propelling her into a prolific writing career. Nia has performed with Images of the Motherland, explored acting and dance, and now crafts handmade greeting cards while delving into blogging. She cherishes the freedom of her artistic expression while valuing collaboration with fellow artists for inspiration and creativity.

Kim "Skye" Yates-England
Skye England, a Baltimore native now residing in Philadelphia, is a dynamic force in the entertainment industry. With a background in stage plays spanning most of her life, Skye has seamlessly transitioned into the world of film, captivating audiences with her versatility and skill. As an actress, singer, writer, and assistant director, Skye's talents know no bounds. Her work can be seen on platforms like Amazon Prime and YouTube, where she continues to leave a lasting impression with her captivating performances and creative contributions.

Monica Fleurette
Monica Fleurette is a full-time professional actor with over 30 years of stage, Voice and film experience. She is also a dancer, writer, director, and acrobat. Most recently, she played Woman in the Diner in M.Night Shyamalan’s Knock at the Cabin. You will find her in a number of recent commercials including Holiday Wawa and helping to announce ABC’s Action News transition for Philly’s Own Rick Williams and Jim Gardner.

Sterling Calhoun
Sterling Calhoun was born in Philadelphia to an African American father and a Bajan mother. Gifted both academically and athletically, Sterling always had a passion for the arts. A vibrant, talented and trained actor/model/writer that has left the runway to take his place on the theatrical stage as well as film. In addition, Sterling has also added directing and producing to the list. He is expected to release new material in the near future. Check out the latest project he wrote, False Pretenses, now available on Tubi.

Jazmin Gilbert
Jazmin Gilbert, a versatile performer, trained in ballet and modern at West Chester University before venturing into hip hop and funk street styles with Just Sole Street Dance Theatre. She has graced prestigious stages including Koresh Come Together Festival and Jacob's Pillow Inside/Out. With John Graves Productions Theatre company, she's showcased her talent in productions like "Moses" and "Black Kid Joy." Recently, she delved into Filipino Folk dance with Ani/Malaya Works in "Tagong Yaman" (Hidden Treasures), continuing to inspire and uplift through her artistry.

Shanice Brooks
Shanice discovered her passion for acting through local talent shows and school plays in Philadelphia. Her interest grew after immersing herself in improv and film classes at Penn State University. She honed her craft at Playhouse West Philadelphia under Tony Savant and with celebrity acting coach Tracey Moore (The Spirited Actor). Shanice's credits include TV series like "Inside the Black Box" (with Tracey Moore & Joe Morton), "Conversations for Sistas Only" (featuring WDAS Radio Personality Frankie Darcell), "Work Bae 2" (by Kyree Terrell), and "Butterfly" (by Omega Reeves).

RacQuel Colon
​RacQuel Saha Colón's journey to acting began in childhood, modeling in local fashion shows and honing her skills in high school programs like Big Picture Alliance. She furthered her training at Barbizon Acting and Modeling school and continued her pursuit of acting during college. After a creative hiatus, RacQuel reignited her passion through performances in short films and stage plays. Beyond acting, she is passionate about sexual education and fashion. With ongoing projects, RacQuel is carving her path to establish her brand in the entertainment industry.

An actor from Southwest Philadelphia for 5 years. “I love acting because I get to be other people and there's freedom in that. I also enjoy being around all the people I've met since I began acting. I got into acting because my mom took me to an audition just kind of thinking “What the heck, why not?” and I got the part.” Robert stated.

Her latest triumph includes portraying Ajna in the original short film "A Girl Like Ajna."

Hannah Tsapatoris MacLeod, a UARTS graduate, has dedicated over 25 years to the arts in Philadelphia as an actor, singer, musician, dancer, producer, director, and teacher. She's the Founder/Producing Artistic Director of Naked Feet Theatrical Productions, known for original works like "Medusa Sings the Blues" and "The Orphan Tree project". As a member of The Bridge PHL Theatre Festival, she co-created "Beloved Community" and directed "The Trojan Women". Recently seen in Beacon Theatre's "Court Martial at Fort Devens", Hannah is thrilled to join The Collective Mic family, supporting these vital works.

Meet Tristan MacLeod, a rising sophomore at Carver Engineering and Science High School. Beyond his academic pursuits, Tristan is a talented multi-instrumentalist who finds joy in mastering various musical instruments. In his free time, he immerses himself in the fantastical world of Dungeons & Dragons, where he crafts intricate campaigns and adventures for his friends. With dreams of attending MIT someday, Tristan is driven by a passion for innovation and discovery. Tristan extends his heartfelt gratitude to Jody, Tiffani, and Teriq for providing him with this incredible opportunity to showcase his talents.
